There is more than one reason for air conditioning noise. If you hear a huge click, it could be a small problem, such as loose stones or debris, trapped in the condensation device. Loose or unbalanced fan blades impinging on the side of the fan housing unit can also produce rattling noises. Most maintenance plans include HVAC adjustments twice a year. As part of a routine maintenance visit, the technician will inspect the condenser unit, remove any dirt or leaves that have accumulated on or around the unit, inspect the fan and, if necessary, clean the fan motor and lubricate the bearings.
The working of a fan is basically contains a single phase induction motor. The fan capacitor torques up the electric motor, allowing it to start and run. An electrical current reaches the motor and then enters coils of wire that are wrapped around a metal base.
